This is a three-volume set book about a mischievous Fairy, Jaleh Noosh, who lives in the green forest with her stepmother, Jirjirani, who is a kind cricket. Jaleh Noosh’s mischief eventually gets her in trouble and drags her into the world of monsters and then humans.
One of the challenges I had for this book was the presence of Jaleh Noush in three different worlds with diverse creatures, some of them were much larger than her and some much smaller! and it made maintaining the similarity of Jaleh Noush’s face and appearance for our young readers during 3 volumes harder, due to we had different lands and her size was changing compared to other characters or her clothes and abilities were completely variable. On the other hand, the books were black and white and I couldn’t use color features and color signs and symbols!
This 3 volume book set was my first experience in illustrating children’s books and I was so lucky to start my journey with Houpaa, one of the most reputable publishing houses in Iran.
Finally, the books after 2 years of delay because of the Corona pandemic they were published in late 2021.
